Where to start with your Move MGMT Project Manager

The starting point with Move MGMT originates from your first inquiry. Complete the "contact us" form by providing as much information as possible; end of lease date, ideal move date, if either location has a time restriction (due to the other tenants in the building your property manager may restrict a move to after 5pm during the week or only on weekends), how many employees are moving, how much furniture you have, the addresses for each move location, the timing of your move (will it be in phases due to construction or require storage until occupancy for the new location is available), what services you wish to include with the move (packing services, bin rentals, IT disconnects, furniture dismantle, decommissioning/disposal, electricians, plumbers, etc.) and what we can provide you as a service to manage the move (planning, project management, move day organization).

The information provided from your inquiry will be reviewed and discussed between the PM's internally for who will be assigned to your project based on the requirements of the move. Some of us excel in project management of all types or specific types and some of us are seasoned in managing moves locally or out of province/state. That PM will contact you for a free consultation and review the project with you (slot an hour for discussion but don't be disappointed if it lasts twenty minutes, we like to be prepared for anything that may require an hour of time). Then provide you with an estimate which will be the hourly rate, estimated number of hours allocated to the project which will also include a breakdown of onsite time, offsite time, parking and travel reimbursement if any. Also to be included in the plan will be a list of services based on your needs which is formulated from an hourly rate and how much time can be allotted to the project for a successful move.

If you wish to move forward, a site meeting will be required to walk the floor to survey the location, furniture and discuss what you require to be done for services with the move. At this time, your estimate will be revised into a proposed quotation of service to provide a concrete budget, line by line items for how we plan to manage your move with a firm quote of move management services based on your needs assessment and site survey. That is 3 hours of our time provided to you under no obligation to ensure this is the right partnership.

Move MGMT is not commission based and all of our project managers work remotely. There is no company overhead, no inflated pricing and no commission to be split between the project manager and the corporation. The invoice will come to you directly from the project manager for their time dedicated to the project and is based on an hourly rate
